HOEC CORPORATE POLICY STATEMENT ON
HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (HSE)
While
pursuing this objective, it is HOEC's
conviction that the Company must be
committed to avoid injury and to preserve
the health & safety of it’s
employees and any other persons who
at any point of time may be affected
by it’s activities and to conduct
it’s operations in a manner that
provides optimum protection to the environment
in which these operations are conducted.
The Company's
HSE Policy forms an integral part of
Line Management Objectives and is an
essential part of the individual objectives
of each employee. Line Managers will
be held equally responsible for HSE
objectives as for other objectives such
as financial and production.
The Company's HSE
Policy must be communicated to all employees,
its suppliers and to all others that
the Company may be associated with.
The Company's policy
is that working safely and protecting
the environment is a condition of employment.
No employee will start, or knowingly
be a part of, any unsafe act or violation
of the Company's HSE Policy
Each employee, full
time or part time, has the responsibility
to ensure compliance with the Company's
HSE Policy and Procedures therein. Each
individual will conduct himself in a
manner so as to protect himself, others
who may be affected by his actions and
the environment.
The client, contractors,
sub-contractors, suppliers and any third
party personnel working with HOEC are
required to conduct themselves in a
manner which is in compliance with HOEC
HSE Policy, as well as the policies
of their respective companies and the
laws & regulations of the countries
where the tasks are being conducted.
The Company will support
employees to care for their own health
however the ultimate responsibility
for personal health lies with each employee.
Managing Director
carries the ultimate responsibility
for Health, Safety & Environment
(HSE) and expects each and every employee
to be as equally committed to achieving
this objective.
