This is with reference to the notification on 2nd February 2005 & 8th February 2005 regarding failure of umbilical hydraulics and the temporary shut down of PD-4 well in PY-3 Block and temporary shut down of production operations of PY-3 Field for conducting the repair work, respectively.
With respect to the same, this is to inform that the production operations from the two out of three wells of PY-3 Block i.e. except PD-4 well, has resumed. Operator is preparing a repair and refurbishment program to the umbilical system and the work would be taken up once the necessary equipment and expertise is mobilised, which is intended to commence in March 2005.
The Company would notify about the restoration of the production operations from the PD-4 well in PY-3 Field upon completion of the repair work to the umbilical system.
The Company has 21% non-operating Participating Interest in PY-3 joint venture.
