The Company has informed the Stock Exchanges as under:
“The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, has vide its letter dated December 1, 2008 received by the Company on December 3, 2008, informed that the Company has been awarded the following blocks, as per details hereunder, by the Government of India under the New Exploration Licensing Policy Round VII (NELP VII).
Block Name : RJ-ONN-2005/1 (Operator)
Participating Interest of the Company in the Block : 25%
Block Area (sq. km.) : 1424
Block Name : RJ-ONN-2005/2 (Non Operator)
Participating Interest of the Company in the Block : 20%
Block Area (sq. km.) : 1517
The Production Sharing Contracts for the same shall be executed in due course.”
